Premier League most chances created: Bruno Fernandes going for the double
Here are the Premier League players to have created the most chances this season.
We’ve included the chances created in total as well as the per 90 in brackets to separate the ties. Thanks to Fotmob for the stats.
1) Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United): 33 (2.9)
No assists for a while after that early-season burst, but Trippier remains the at the hub of everything going forward and at the back for Newcastle.
2) Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United): 32 (2.7)
Last year’s chance creation leader is very likely to figure very highly again in this campaign. Shame there’s no-one to put them away at the end, aside from himself.
3) James Maddison (Tottenham): 31 (3.1)
The Premier League’s most creative player according to a different metric but he will drop down this list after being side-lined by injury.
4) James Ward-Prowse (West Ham): 28 (2.6)
His first assists since early September came in the win over Nottingham Forest that saw him log five chances.
5) Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool): 28 (2.4)
You wait ages for a bus etc etc…he finally got his first and then second Premier League assist against Nottingham Forest.
6) Bukayo Saka (Arsenal): 27 (2.6)
Last season’s Young Player of the Year has started in fine style once again. A fourth Premier League assist of the season came v Burnley.

7) Julian Alvarez (Manchester City): 26 (2.4)
A quietly brilliant player who will probably end up being a phenomenal screening midfielder at some point or something.
8) Mo Salah (Liverpool): 26 (2.2)
Has created at least one chance in each of his 12 Premier League games this season, including three v Luton that were not taken.
9) Alfie Doughty (Luton): 25 (2.8)
We had genuinely not heard of him three months ago so this is genuinely extraordinary from the left-back.
10) Pedro Neto (Wolves): 25 (2.5)
If Wolves are to thrive, a lot rests on the head (well, feet) of Neto. Has seven assists already, not including the own goal he forced from Ruben Dias. Now out through injury.
