Juventus to target Arsenal forward – want player to ‘battle’ with Vlahovic
According to reports, Serie A giants Juventus are ‘keeping an eye’ on Alexandre Lacazette’s situation at Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners broke their club-record transfer fee to sign the striker from Lyon in 2017 for around £46m.
The Frenchman has netted 70 goals from his 196 appearances for Arsenal. He has also provided 36 assists.

Lacazette is out of contract this summer and it is expected that he will leave the club. This comes after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang exited at the start of February to join Barcelona.
Arsenal’s other senior centre-forward Eddie Nketiah also looks likely to depart. Like Lacazette, his deal expires in June.
Calciomercato (via Caught Offside) are reporting that Juventus are interested in Lacazette. They are looking to bring in an experienced striker who can ‘battle’ with Dusan Vlahovic.
The former Fiorentina striker was being targeted by Arsenal prior to his switch to Juventus in January. He has hit the ground running in Turin as he has netted four goals from his first eight games.
Elsewhere, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has insisted that “every game is a rollercoaster” in the race to finish inside the top four this season.
The Gunners played some scintillating football at times as they beat Watford 3-2 on Sunday afternoon.
The victory sees Arsenal go back inside the Champions League places for the first time in two months.
“It is very pleasing; we know how difficult it is to be in this position in this league,” Arteta told Sky Sports. “We’ve earned it, we have comes a long way as a team.
“We had great attacking moments but I wasn’t pleased with our organisation. We didn’t dominate and play the way we wanted. Credit to Watford, but a lot of it was down to us; we should have done better and there is a lot to improve.”
Arteta played a part in Arsenal’s third goal, handing the ball to Bukayo Saka to take a quick throw-in before the ball found its way to Gabriel Martinelli to make it 3-1.
On Martinelli’s goal, the Spaniard said: “I saw an advantage and I took it; we have to be alive and that is the way I live the game. I try to instil that in the team as well.”
